BYO Lunch Groups meet at noon on Fridays - Men’s in the Fellowship Hall and Women’s in the Library. All are welcome to these informal gatherings. Child care is provided if you call the church office by noon on Thursday.
Need a night out? PNO is for parents of babies through 5th grade. The kids go to the UCG church school wing on Friday, May 10 from 5:30 to 8:30pm - where they eat pizza*, watch movies, play games, and have fun with their friends. The cost is $11 for the first child and $6 for each additional child. *Due to life threatening food allergies, no outside food can be brought in. To reserve your spot, please RSVP by Tuesday, May 7 to saram@ucgainesville.org.
Helen Aller-Oster Memorial Golf Tournament - on Saturday, May 11 at 1 PM at Ironwood Golf Course. . The entry fee of $45 pays for 18 holes of golf with a cart, range balls, three UCG logo balls, entry to the putting contest, Roly Poly lunch, and fabulous prizes. Super Ball and Mulligan tickets are available at a minimal price. The money raised from the tickets will fund IHN this year. New Members – Sunday, June 9 - If you have been visiting UCG and are interested in joining, mark two dates on your calendar. First save Sunday, June 9 as the Sunday new members will be welcomed. Second, hold Wednesday, May 29 at 5:30pm for a new members’ orientation. Child care will be provided. There are two requirements to join this church. First is an acceptance of the Compact of the church. Second is a willingness to pitch in and share your gifts in this community, because you, the new members, bring new life and new energy to all of us!
Small Groups for the Fall - The Small Groups Committee is looking for people to join and help plan small groups for the Fall. Please contact Vince Amlin at vincea@ucgainesville.org for more information or to sign up. Also, if you have any ideas for small groups, let Vince know.
Wherever you are this summer- in your own yard, at the beach, in another state or country– remember to gather a small amount of water to bring to our annual “Gathering of Waters” service on August 19. This service is our ritual of re-gathering as a church community at the end of the summer.
