United Tribes

United Tribes is UCG’s answer to “church school” for Kindergarten through 5th grade children on Sunday mornings. Children attend the 9:30 service with their family. After the Children’s story, they go with their guides to their groups: K-1st, 2nd-3rd, and 4th-5th. We have a strong focus on group bonding and active learning. We also use a dynamic rotation program for our groups. Thematic units include exciting topics such as Gardening, Religious Traditions, Diverse Universe, Bible Heroes, and the UCG Compact. Each rotation unit includes drama, music, crafts, story-telling, cooking, and games. The sessions are led by various UCG members who volunteer for that session.  Our children’s program themes often relate to the focus of the Sunday morning worship service in order to provide connections between United Tribes and the larger church and to promote family conversations.
