United Tribes
United Tribes, UCG’s answer to “church school”, is offered Sunday mornings for children Kindergarten through 5th grade. Children attend the 9:30 service with their family. After the Children’s story, they go with their guides to their groups: K-1st, 2nd-3rd, and 4th-5th. We have a strong focus on group bonding and active learning. We also use a very exciting rotation program for our groups. Thematic units include exciting topics such as Gardening, Religious Traditions, Diverse Universe, Bible Heroes, and the UCG Compact. Each unit includes drama, music, crafts, story-telling, cooking, and games. The sessions are lead by various UCG members who volunteer for the activity. Our themes often relate to the focus and theme of the Sunday morning worship services to provide connections between United Tribes and the larger church and to promote family conversation.
