Youth United

Youth United, our high school youth group, meets every Sunday throughout the academic year. Starting in September, YU meets at 12:15 pm for a one hour and fifteen minute meeting. We spend time building trust, deepening faith and engaging issues of faith and social justice that we see in the world. On the first Sunday of the month we gather at 5:30 pm for a dinner and extended discussion meeting.

Our group is run by our self selected high school officers, who provide our leadership and vision for what YU can be.

YU is committed to service, supporting one another, and providing a safe, spiritually encouraging space where high school students can live a little “theology with their sleeves rolled up.”

We go on an annual “Mystery Trip” where the YU’s don’t have any idea where they are going or what they will be doing for an entire weekend; and every spring break we travel to a different part of the country to do home rehabilitation for friends in need.
